Place Based Learning

 

Kingfield Elementary School is a public PreK-8 school located in western Maine.  We are surrounded by natural beauty.  Essential to our vision for education is a commitment to helping our students learn about their place in the world.  We provide experiences for students to observe, inquire, and interact with the natural, cultural, and historical aspects of their local environment.
